The Indiana Geological Survey Coal Quality Database (ICQD) is the most comprehensive source of coal quality information. It was compiled using seven overlapping databases, checked for redundancy, and duplicated records were eliminated. The database was purged of repetitions based on location. A total of 392 records do not have exact locations (county only), however, we decided to retain these because they had reliable values. Records were completed and updated. This database was published in 2005 as Indiana Geological Survey Open-File Study 05-02. Since publication in 2005, the ICQD has been updated whenever new data was available. As of January 2011 the database contained 3,186 data points. It is now published as Indiana Geological Survey Report of Progress 40. Because additional data is obtained by the Indiana Geological Survey on an annual basis, interested users may wish to contact the Indiana Geological Survey for information on these more up-to-date sources.", "summary": "", "title": "Danville ash content [%, dry basis]", "tags": [], "type": "", "typeKeywords": [], "thumbnail": "", "url": "", "minScale": "NaN", "maxScale": "NaN", "spatialReference": "", "accessInformation": "CREDIT It is requested that the Indiana Geological Survey be cited in any products generated from this data.
