COAL_MINE_MINED_OUT_DANVILLE_IN_2010 is a composite of all surface and underground mined-out areas in the Danville
Coal Member in Indiana. COAL_MINE_MINED_OUT_DANVILLE_IN_2010 incorporates all Danville Coal Member surface and
underground mined-out areas compiled by the Indiana Geological Survey (IGS) digitized from maps collected from the Indiana Department of Natural
Resources Division of Reclamation, the Indiana Bureau of Mines, coal companies, field maps and notes of IGS geologists,

1:4,800 to 1:100,000. COAL_MINE_SURFACE_IN includes attributes that allow the mine polygons to be differentiated
based on mine number, county name, and mine type (surface or underground). |
