Description: This ESRI ArcGIS (v 10.0) point shapefile depicts the location of 3,125 public point-source coal-quality data points in Indiana. Detailed location and coal quality information are stored in a Microsoft Access database named "ICQD_Indiana2010.mdb" that is contained in Open-File Study 05-02 update 2010 of the Indiana Geological Survey. COAL_ICQD_2010_IN.SHP is a GIS representation of the data contained within ICQD_Indiana2010.mdb. Please note that the database contain 3,186 datapoints, however 61 points do not have a location information, these datapoints were removed and are not present in the shapefile.
